In a speech to the Karachi Bar Association on Friday, the chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf claimed that if NRO-2 is handed to “criminals,” there is no hope for the future of the nation. He claimed that the invitation from the lawyers came at a crucial time for the nation.

The former prime minister referred to his struggle for “true freedom” as a jihad against robbers and plunderers. For the sake of the rule of law, he pleaded with the legal community to support him. According to the PTI leader, outstanding lawyers in the past led the Pakistan Movement, and the PTI is currently doing the same. If the attorneys support him or not, he enquired.

Imran Khan had to cut his address short due to event mismanagement.

The former premier declared Karachi to be “the city of PTI,” noting that its residents are more politically aware than those in the rest of the nation. He also stated that he wanted Karachi’s youth to lead the nation. As the nation’s economic center, Karachi’s success ensures the advancement of the whole country.

He claimed that if the province capital had been adequately safeguarded, it would have been a more advanced metropolis than Dubai. People in Karachi will vote for PTI because they are sick of being ruled.

The former prime minister, who paid the city only sporadic visits during his nearly four years in office, declared that if given another chance by God, he would rid Karachi of crime. He declared, “Inshallah, we will build not only the federal government but also the Sindh government and end Zardari mafia raj in Sindh.” He further alleged that the “Zardari mafia” was robbing Karachi of its wealth and investing it in foreign countries, particularly Dubai. He asserted that this is the reason Dubai is thriving.

He declared that the Zardari Mafia was unlucky for the Sindhi people. People are waiting for change, he said, so no one has the courage to put an end to the PTI revolution. We must stand up to thieves. Later, he accepted an oath from the attendees of the meeting to join the PTI freedom march.
