In the latest development in the investigation of the threat letter written to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his father and writer Salim Khan, Delhi Police acknowledged that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang attempted to assassinate the actor many times.
Earlier on Friday, Times Network said that Lawrence Bishnoi, a prominent suspect in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, had dispatched a sniper with a small-bore weapon in a modified hockey casing to assassinate the Bollywood star. The plot to assassinate Salman, however, was thwarted at the last minute.
In an interview with the Times Network, HGS Dhaliwal remarked, “The mandate of the special cell is to look after every aspect for anti-terror and organized crime that impacts the national capital region, particularly Delhi.” Most major crimes have a reverberation in the capital, and the Delhi Special Cell attempts to be proactive anytime something major occurs. We are also looking at its consequences in Delhi.”
the Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s attempts on actor Salman Khan, Delhi Police special cell chief HGS Dhaliwal remarked in an exclusive interview with Times Network, “It would be correct to say that there were more than one credible effort to assassinate Salman Khan.”
“During the interrogation of Lawrence Bishnoi by the Mumbai Crime Branch, Maharashtra Police, and the special cell, we discovered several previously unknown information that emphasized the threat to the Bollywood star.” So it would be correct to state that the thug made more than one credible attempt,” Dhaliwala added.
