Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoga

In Istanbul, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met to discuss ways to improve relations in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Following the meetings on Sunday, the Turkish presidency stated that both nations had important responsibilities to play in the changing security situation in Europe as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and that stronger collaboration will benefit the area.
